Tangerine Essential Oil

Tangerine essential oil has a very joyous scent, with comforting tones of orange reminiscent of childhood, fresh fruit, warm winters and log fires. An uplifting fragrance, tangerine is also very soothing, with excellent mood balancing properties.

Citrus oils have a multitude of benefits from anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, to brightening and uplifting scents. An excellent addition to skincare or personal care products, tangerine essential oil brings joy and warmth with a lingering orange scent.

Used in household cleaning products – or in a diffuser – the fresh citrus smell evokes feelings of cleanliness, and the sweetness and warmth of tangerine promotes feelings of home comfort.

Tangerine essential oil will blend well with other citrus and mint oils for a bright and invigorating scent, with floral notes for a joyful but light atmosphere, or with deeper woody notes for a feeling of relaxation and stress reduction.

HOW TO USE

• Diffuse: add 10-15 drops of essential oil – on its own or as part of a blend with other oils – to 100ml water in a Kotanical stone oil diffuser.
• Massage: add 1-10 drops of essential oil to 2tsp of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.
• Topical: add 5-10 drops of essential oil to 10ml of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.
