Vetiver Essential Oil

Vetiver reduces stress and nervousness and is even used to support individuals experiencing shock or trauma to help soothe and stabilize them.

This exotic smelling essential oil is deeply relaxing to both body and mind. Described as ‘the oil of tranquillity’, as well as being used to support individuals who have experienced shock or trauma, this soothing essential oil is also more readily used to support nervousness and insomnia.

Vetiver can be used as an insect or lice repellent, but should that fail it can be applied topically to stings and minor burns. It can also be applied topically for muscle and joint pain and conditions such as arthritis as well as for skin conditions such as acne and oily skin. 

Known to symbolize strength and courage, this classic aromatherapy oil is grounding and supportive and creates an environment of emotional stability and fortitude.

Vetiver is also used in the unique Kotanical oil blend for the STILL rollerball.

HOW TO USE

  • Diffuse: add 10-15 drops of essential oil – on its own or as part of a blend with other oils – to 100ml water in a Kotanical stone oil diffuser.
  • Massage: add 1-10 drops of essential oil to 2tsp of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.
  • Topical: add 5-10 drops of essential oil to 10ml of carrier oil such as coconut, almond, jojoba, grapeseed or olive oil.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world except America. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we may provide shipping costs if applicable for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping option you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use and the destination country, orders that weigh more than 2kg will often be split and sent in two or more packages.

We endeavour to dispatch your order within 24 hours of receiving it, please allow for some delays during peak period / Black Friday due to high volumes.

Returns Policy


We hope that you will be pleased with your purchase. However, should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will happily refund any unwanted goods returned within 14 days from date of delivery. All unwanted goods must be returned in an unused,unopened and as new condition as sent to you with the original packaging and any free samples/free gifts received along with a completed returns form. Please note all applicable free gifts and samples supplied must also be returned with your order. If not we will make a discretionary deduction to cover our cost for these items. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them less the true cost to us for shipping the item to you. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to ensure the goods are returned safely to us.


In the unlikely event that your product is faulty upon arrival we will happily replace it. Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the product and we will be able to assist you. We will refund the monetary value of the goods returned to us, at the price you purchased them including the delivery charges for sending the item to you.

We will refund back to the original method of payment charged only (e.g. credit card, debit card, gift voucher).

Don't be fooled by how it smells neat

This is absolutely gorgeous diffused. I mixed it with grapefruit, and it was amazing!

Beautiful

Beautiful oil. Have to take cap off to get it out. I'm putting it into a roller ball bottle and mixing with organic almond oil and Bergamot to use as a natural perfume.
